I went through a period of almost five years without writing any mellow songs until I wrote this one. It opened up a different style of songwriting for me. The guitar is pretty simplistic, which is something I usually avoid, but I thought it was appropriate here.
Sometimes we simply don't say what we mean, or we just say nothing at all to avoid awkwardness. It's a very short song because I said what I had to say with just a few words. The rest of them I keep unsaid.
